This year Plastics Plus celebrates 25 years of plastics distribution in the UK. Established in 1991, our family owned business has grown from strength to strength, and is now the largest independent plastics distributor in the UK.
Chairman, Barry White, started the business 25 years ago, alongside his son, Stuart White. Stuart now runs the company, with brother Richard, and step-brother Tim John. Sales Director, John Hibbert, completes the management team. Just as vital are the 40+ team of sales people, drivers and warehouse operators.
On achieving their 25 year milestone, Chairman, Barry White commente:
“I attribute our success to a business built on good, honest family values. We take pride in giving an excellent, friendly service based on knowledge and understanding. This is borne out by having a team which boasts over 250 years collective experience in the plastics industry, with many of them having achieved over 10 years’ service with plastics plus, and indeed eight have over 20 years. Such loyalty provides consistency for the customers and a happy working environment.”
“Our business supplies plastic products to UK industry from the best manufacturers in Europe. We have spent years establishing excellent supplier relationships to ensure we offer the best quality product to the UK, at competitive prices. We have invested in top of the range, bespoke cutting and finishing technology, so that we can give added value to our product offer.
