We are proud to introduce this new Fiat Ducato to our growing fleet of delivery vehicles.  This new addition will take responsibility for those urgent customer requirements and importantly it meets the latest EC regulations for low emissions, in Plastics Plus continuing commitment to the environment.

At Plastics Plus, we deliver  95% of all orders using our own fleet of transport. This means expert handling by our experienced drivers so that your plastic sheet arrives in top class condition.

We endeavor to ensure that all our product is clean, swarf-free and packed to ensure it is not damaged during transit and is transferred to your premises, clearly marked to your delivery requirements.

Plastics Plus operates a shift-based system, which means that we can act swiftly to your enquiry. We proudly boast that over 90% of all deliveries are made on a next day basis. The two Plastics Plus branches work together to ensure the UK is efficiently covered so that we can meet the exacting deadlines you work to.

CELEBRATING SUCCESS

Plastics Plus celebrates its 20th Anniversary this year, since it was started in May 1991, by Barry and Stuart White.

Going from strength to strength, even through some of the toughest times for the UK economy, is a real achievement and definitely something to be celebrated. 

At Plastics Plus we marked this special occasion with a skittles night out for all the team and their families.   During the evening the team kindly presented Stuart White, MD, with a framed commemorative Wolves shirt for him and his father, to mark the occasion.  This is now proudly displayed in our  Wolverhampton office.

This year has seen some great developments, with investment in new equipment, a new Director and a revitalised team.  We’ve  created a new team of excited and competent staff who are now firmly established in Plastics Plus, and ready to meet all our client’s needs.

AT THE CUTTING EGDE

Plastics Plus introduces its new custom-built saw which is the only one of its type in the UK. The Holzma HPP 530 P sets a new standard in plastics processing and confirms our commitment to investing in first-class customer service.

The new saw is able to process a vast variety of plastic materials in a wide range of thicknesses and sizes, using latest computerized, cutting technology. The saw has been adapted from its standard version to include many extra capabilities, making it a purpose-built machine to suit our highly-specified requirements.

We are able to cut panels to whatever our client’s requirements and process sheets from the thinnest gauge to up to 6 metres in length.  We can ensure reliable and repeatable accuracy and an edge finish that is second to none.  Our extraction systems which eliminate swarf at the point of cut give a swarf-free finish, thereby reducing our client’s processing times by supplying them with product ready for use.

This is the eighth saw Plastics Plus has purchased from Holzma, world leaders in their field.  We currently have 6 machines in operation, giving us a great capacity to meet your needs.  By investing in processing technology it shows our commitment to providing a service which is second to none, and ahead of the market – just what our customers deserve!

NEW! - ‘Welding Grade’ PVC Sheet

New from Plastics Plus is Welding Grade PVC sheet.  This product is tough, rigid and is immediately available in transparent green – designed for welding screens (with a range of colour options coming soon!)

Welding Grade PVC can be thermoformed, glazed, drilled and fabricated.  Working with this product is easy, it can be sawn, drilled, routed and milled.  It can work to high temperatures, up to a maximum temperature 60ºC (and up to 95ºC if armored with GRP).

Applications include machine guards, welding screens and glazing.  Welding Grade PVC displays exceptional impact strength as well excellent chemical resistance, high tensile strength and dimensional stability.  It also has low thermal conductivity and good electrical properties.

Plastics Plus Invest in New Computer System

Plastics Plus has invested in an upgraded computer system which will enable us to provide improved service to our customers.

The new system allows us to hold updated customer data which is readily accessible. E-mailing of invoices using this system has meant a cost saving, as well as service efficiencies. We now have over 90% of our customers opting for the paperless service, which is also great news for the environment.

We've always been proactive in our marketing, but introducing the new CRM system means our marketing will be more accurate and efficient by improving our targeting and hopefully increasing sales.
